Our annual Car612 Fundraiser Lunch is a heartfelt event created in memory of our son, Oliver “Oli” Martin, and dedicated to supporting the incredible work of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).
What began as a family’s way of turning grief into purpose has grown into a powerful community tradition—one that continues to make a real difference across rural and remote Australia.
About the Event
Each year, our fundraising lunch brings together friends, family, local businesses, supporters, and the wider community for an inspiring afternoon of connection, storytelling and generosity. Every ticket sold, every donation made, and every item bid on helps keep the RFDS in the air—delivering lifesaving medical care where it’s needed most.
To date, the Car612 community has proudly raised $275,000 for the RFDS, with every dollar helping to honour Oli’s legacy in the most meaningful way.
What to Expect This Year
Our upcoming lunch will be held at the Bangalow A&I Hall, and includes a three-course sit-down meal and a complimentary welcome drink.
